The Murkin is an all original design inspired by iconic French luxury bags and the classic music case, replacing the belt and turn key lock with a beautiful brass bar, hand hammered to create a unique texture. The sides can be folded in for a more classic look, or alternatively flared out for a more bold, modern aesthetic.

Crafted entirely by hand – every seam, every edge, every detail – this bag is the result of 40 hours of focused, meticulous work by a single craftsman who does it all himself. No assembly line, no outsourcing. Just one pair of skilled hands and a deep love for traditional leathercraft.

Made from vegetable tanned chocolate brown Radermacker Hukuo it’s designed to be both eye-catching and enduring. The elegant silhouette is accentuated with hand-stitched saddle seams and brass hardware, creating a refined but approachable look that’s perfect for everyday sophistication. The interior has a single pocket, and is lined natural calf skin.

This specific version is made from excellent leather and will age and patina in a fantastic way. When finishing up the edges (the last part of making the bag) I spilled some tokonole inside, and it left a mark in the lining, which shows in the last product photo. I have reduced the price a bit to reflect this.
